Jack Revill, better known as the Scottish DJ and producer Jackmaster, tragically passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 38. Jackmaster died in Ibiza following complications from an accidental head injury. His family confirmed the news, expressing their heartbreak and requesting privacy as they grieve.
Jackmaster was a pioneering figure in the electronic music scene, co-founding the influential Numbers label and playing a pivotal role in Glasgow’s underground music culture. From his early days working at the renowned Rubadub Records, he quickly rose to international prominence as a DJ known for his ability to blend genres and bring electrifying energy to his performances. He played in major venues worldwide and became a regular on the international circuit, including slots on BBC Radio 1 and appearances at festivals like Hï Ibiza.
